iHLA-net is the interactive face of HLA-net, an interface for databases HLA population and immunogenetics data and the place for HLA data analysis.

iHLA-net includes several high quality curated data sets, from HLA workshops to careful systematic literature reviews. These data are made easily available to all and include many common population based allele and haplotype frequency analyses.

This web based application provides access to a number of tools (also known as the Gene[rate] tools) to prepare your own data, starting for instance, from spreadsheet "excel"-like files and proceed to the estimation of allele and haplotype frequencies, to Hardy-Weinberg and Linkage Disequilibrium, but also to comparison of your own data with the hundreds of population samples included in the database. Finally, you can produce high quality tables, graphs and distribution world maps and produce PCAs in just a few clicks. You can also add your own data to this project (upon curation, to ensure quality standards)

To prepare, analyse and explore your own data you need to request an account (to keep your data private). If you just want to use the already existing database you can proceed without an account.

Population comparison

We have gathered a number of well-curated samples from populations arround the globe. Here, you can use different tools to compare their allele or haplotype frequencies, their levels of Linkage Disequilibrium and their heterozigosities.
